VeganMoFo Giveaway!

Have you noticed an increase in vegan chatter online this month?

Vegan recipes, pictures, and commentary flood the blogosphere throughout the month of October on account of The Vegan Month of Food. The event – better known as VeganMoFo – all started when a group of bloggers organized a movement in the vegan community across the world to spread the word about vegan cooking, and boy has it taken off!

Hundreds of bloggers pledge to write about vegan food every weekday throughout the month with the simple objective to show the world that vegan food is versatile, and deliciously full of flavor.

When the VeganMoFo group contacted me to see if Lightlife would sponsor a giveaway, I nearly jumped out of my chair. Offer Lightlife vegan products to a group of bloggers who are on a mission to cook vegan meals and write about them everyday!? Yes please, sign us up!! 😉

Lightlife offers a wide variety of vegan products – and we would love nothing more than to help spread the word about how eating vegan has just as many options as eating any other diet. So for one lucky winner, we plan to give a gift bag filled with every single vegan product we make. Yep – every one of them! That’s 23 different items – ranging from Gimme Lean Sausage to Organic Three Grain Tempeh -that will surely get our winner’s creative cooking juices flowing!

Head over to VeganMofo.com on October 20th to enter for a chance to win – the giveaway will run for one day only, so don’t miss your chance to sign up! You know how we love to hear your feedback, so be sure to let us know what you think of their site on our Facebook page.

What would you do with Lightlife’s entire line of vegan food? Would you throw a vegan party using some of our recipes? Or maybe encourage your friends and family to try the lifestyle with you for the month?

  1. Brazil, that has the 5th population in the world with
almost 200 million brazilians, unfortunately does not yet
produce on a large scale, vegetarian and vegan foods, which
are much healthier and mostly provided by our mother earth.
Given the health of our population and the preservation of
all the more human beings, I would be representative of
existing products in the United States for the dissemination
and distribution of food already industrialized and free of
    animal proteins and derivatives.
Thus information request, authorization, and what should be
the most appropriate procedure for in representing your
company, I may be able to market, distribute and deliver
    your product.”

  2. I entered and crossing my fingers we win! We are a young family of four who recently made the conversion to a vegan lifestyle. Our biggest challenge has been getting our oldest to try things she’s never had before. She misses her corn dogs, nuggets and cheese covered foods 5 year olds eat. This would help me with her lunches too since she’s in school. thank you so much for doing this contest! It’s awesome!!

  3. Sorry but I had to chuckle at the ‘mofo’…somebody flunked ‘street lingo’ class!
I’m also sorry that I missed out on the give away contest. I’m a huge fan of the crumbles. Anytime I can find a delicious meat alternative to serve my omnivore hubby I’m all over it! I look forward to trying out your receipes. Thanks!
