Bring in the New Year with a Giveaway from Lightlife!

What’s your New Year’s resolution for 2012?

We want to know what motivates you to make your resolutions! Is it because a New Year is right around the corner? Or are you motivated to make positive changes in your life all year round?

Let us know what your goals are for 2012 and we’ll pick three winners* to receive five free Lightlife coupons!

Haven’t decided on a resolution yet? Take a look at what some of the folks at Lightlife have pledged to do this coming year.

My best and last resolution is to do something creative every day. It’s been working great for the past 3 years! Of course I can’t get into my skinny jeans, but I have some lovely works of my “art” in my home. At least lovely to me! – Mary

One of my resolutions is to read at least two books for fun. Not school or work related but simple enjoyment novels. My other one is to redo my kitchen. That’s a big one, and will take all available resources, but I dream big. – Linda

To be better about running every day to get in shape and reduce my stress level! – Karen

To be thin and stay thin the rest of my life, and take better care of myself in every facet of my life. I started in earnest September 2011, to get a head start on the New Year. – Ann

My coworkers seem to be right on track to start the New Year off right! I haven’t quite decided on what mine will be for 2012 though, so I’m looking forward to reading all of yours! Perhaps one will spark an idea for me. 🙂

  5. I resolve to stop making the same mistakes; to do what I know is right but just ‘can’t seem to find the time’; to take a step in the right direction, and even if I fall short, to remember I still took the step. I shall be resolute to live up to the light I have been given & in the course of living a simple yen dhealthy and healthy life, I shall remind myself not all flowers bloom at the same time, but eventually they do bloom! Happy New Year to all & may the success I have also be your success!

  7. In 2011 I lost a good amount of extra weight I had been carrying around for years. In 2012 I resolve to maintain the healthy weight that I am now and to run a road race or two!

I resolve to do more volunteer work. In the summer of 2011 I signed up to visit the local nuring home two times a month, but life has gotten in the way and I haven’t been able to visit as often as I hoped. I plan on doing better in 2012.

    Happy New Year!!!

  14. I set 3 goals for each year. I try not to make *resolutions*, to me that only sets myself up for immediate failure. There is no guilt for a miss-step on one day. I keep the end in sight and I have never missed a goal since starting this 4 years ago.

  22. My resolution is to manage my stress better. I plan on doing this by eating better, working out regularly, going to bed at the same (earlier) time every night, doing homework the night it is given rather than the night before it’s due, going outside more often, cleaning my house at least twice a month, making a point to straighten up once a week rather than letting things get out of control, managing my time better, and combating my laziness and procrastination with accomplishment and satisfaction!

It sounds like a lot, but I know these are things that need to happen in order for my stress level to go down during the school semester!

  58. My resolution is to get into an exercise routine. Because of an inner ear balance problem, I had to stop running and have let that discourage me from pursuing another activity, despite the puchase of a spinning bike (a.k.a. clothes rack). I eat a (95%) vegan diet, but also need to incorporate more veggies & fruits & less baked goods. I love to bake and vegan baked goods aren’t always healthier for sure. I also would like to continue to encourage others around me to try veggie options, and am always bring foods to work to share. Gimme Lean makes good crockpot pot meatball appetizers, albeit in the grape jelly based sauce!
